Angus Donald is the bestselling author of The Outlaw Chronicles, a series of books about the legendary hero Robin Hood. The first four books in the series, Outlaw, Holy Warrior, King's Man and Warlord are published in the UK by Sphere. Angus Donald’s fifth Robin Hood novel, Grail Knight, will be released in hardback in August 2013. A new series of standalone Outlaw Chronicles short stories are being published in ebook across 2013, starting with The Rise of Robin Hood.
Angus Donald was born in China in 1965 and educated at Marlborough College and Edinburgh University.
He has worked as a fruit-picker in Greece, a waiter in New York and as an anthropologist studying magic and witchcraft in Indonesia.
For the past 20 years, he has been a journalist in Hong Kong, India, Afghanistan and London.
