Winners of the Golden Arrow contest

Posted on

They think it’s all over – it is now. The Golden Arrows contest has closed at last. It’s been thrilling: you’ve laughed, you’ve cried, and an awful lot of you have done seriously heroic work in promoting the Outlaw Chronicles to a wider audience. So, first off, I would like to say a big thank you to everybody who took part in the GA scheme – you have all been brilliant and I am truly grateful.

However, as in all, competitions there has to be a winner – or in this case winners. And these are . . . drum roll, please . . .

In first place with a massive 12 Golden Arrows is Alex Sprackling, a talented magician, a budding politician, and one of my most loyal Musketeers. Big round of applause please for Alex!

In joint second place with 10 GAs each are two stalwarts of the Outlaw Chronicles family – men who have tirelessly retweeted my drivellings and have gone the extra mile in promoting the books on their own platforms. Big hand please for Ben Starmes and Robin Carter.

Each of these lucky winners will be receiving a signed copy of Warlord in the post from me, just as soon as they give me their addresses (use the email on the contact form on this website – and if you want me to write something particular on the flyleaf let me know that too).

Honorable mentions (but no free book) must also go to: Jeanne Lemieux (8), Nick Britten (8), Alun C Williams (6) and SJATurney (5). My eternal gratitude goes to these sterling supporters of the series.

And once again a huge thank you to everybody who participated. If you didn’t win, don’t despair, I’ll be doing another competition next year for Book 5. And maybe one before that, inviting people to guess the title of the next book which has up to now been a very closely guarded secret.
